Our Notebook is crafted for educators by two teachers with 30 years of classroom experience and 20+ years of ACT Prep. Here's our story and results:
Not only do we give you tips to implement in your classroom but also how to create a culture at your school. We have worked in different roles at Haynes Academy: secondary ELA classroom instructors, teacher leaders, department head, ACT prep instructors, ACT cheerleaders, and Master Teacher.
Hence, we've developed unique perspectives in building an ACT culture at our school, working closely with administration and our instructional leadership team to build the highest average ACT scores in the state of Louisiana for the past five years (LDOE State Scores). In 2010, our school’s composite average was a 24, and this year, 2022, our school average will be a 29.7! We currently have nine juniors and six seniors (Class of 2022) with a perfect 36!
